Where the food noise isn't overtaking my kind of internal mental world.
And or right, I don't feel so compelled to act that if for some reason something were to get in my way or my own self would be like, oh wait a minute, maybe I don't want to eat that food right now, I wouldn't be able to not like stop the action.
And I think those are great moments to just become curious.
Right.
Maybe begin to drop in and in those moments where the food noise is increasing in volume, maybe get curious.
Like what else, you know, might be happening?
What's what are the thoughts going on in my mind?
What is the meaning I'm making of the food?
How am I feeling?
Does something else happen in my relationships, in my environment?
Right.
Is something else maybe inspiring?
The action.
Yes, it could be that I'm hungry, I need nutrients, and I'm gonna go eat that food to get it, but it also could be.
a need for comfort, for connection, a simple need of something to do, because sitting here, right, is in bringing up other thoughts about something else that are too uncomfortable.
So I'd rather distract myself with hyperfixating on food than maybe sitting in the grief or the loss or the anger that I'm experiencing in that moment.

this level of understanding and kind of the unpacking that the field itself is doing in terms of
Expanding what trauma really is as we even gain an understanding of how our body processes emotions.
