Um, very natural experiences though.
We have very little awareness in the scientific community of what they are, what to do with them, right?
How to kind of process them.
So um, I have not met um too many people that have had fully their needs met for different reasons.
Again, information has changed.
Resources have changed.
We're parented by humans who are impacted by their environments, by epigenetics, by lifestyle, by everything in between.
misunderstood usually because the lived experience of the outcome of discipline Rate has had on us.
Right.
Because I think discipline gets a kind of
sort of a negative to some extent, especially when the experience has been over disciplined, right?
An authair authoritarian where maybe violence and if not abuse was used to.
define and maintain limits because that's essentially what discipline is, right?
The ability to say, here's a line in the sand, right?
Proverbial that I won't cross or that you shouldn't cross.
And here's what will happen, the outcomes.
Should that happen, right?
And then
Discipline in childhood.
Of course, those of us who have ever been around a toddler knows that the parents' job is to develop the the boundaries, so to speak, and to discipline or give the child awareness of consequences when those boundaries are crossed.
