The um
kind of the teenager and the self-awareness and the knowledge.
Um so one of the things that sometimes we will do in our coaching process is if the student that's being treated, you know
if the treating physician or the, you know, nurse practitioner is
really struggling with um kind of collecting data.
we will offer to work with that student to fill out a symptom tracker weekly or bi-weekly during coaching sessions and send that to
the medical provider so that we're getting yes that kind of clinical interview information for the medical provider but also getting you know the data from a symptom tracker and sometimes we'll also send in our practice we keep records weekly of are the students grades in a class going up or down.
Now we could talk all day about the downsides of you know keeping this close helicopter parent track of grades.
But for kids with ADHD, we also know that that kind of immediate, consistent, strong feedback is important.
And that's why we do it in coaching is okay, in this class is your grade up or down this week and why?
And so
Having a space to talk about that um and then to work as a team to send that to the prescriber has been, I think, incredibly valuable for the families that we serve.
Of course, we're not doing any of the medical practice.
We're helping the adolescent complete this symptom tracker, right?
fill out their grades record.
But the psychiatrists that we've worked with have said, this is so helpful because if I see this student in the office once every three months and I say, how's it going?
And the adolescent says, fine, and the parents like, I don't know about that, you know, you've given me all kinds of data to work with.
Yeah.
