Are we opening them up or are we shutting them down?

And if we're walking away like we you know, started this talking, saying, you know, I just feel like it's shallow, like we don't really have deep conversations.

The first question we're gonna ask is, where is the depth?

So if I were coming in and doing a diagnosis of your conversation, I would say, where's the lack of depth coming from?

And some people say, Oh, well people should just share.

They sh you should just be forthcoming with what you want to say.

And I would say

I don't know if that's always true.

I think sometimes we have to have the other person caring a little to show that they would wanna know.

So we don't come in blasting everybody with all our thoughts and feelings on every topic.

We would prefer to have someone say, So you feel

Yeah, I feel disappointed about this or nervous or whatever.

And I feel like you're more interested when you prompt me.

Or when you mirror me, or when you ask an open question.

I agree with that.
