How you been, man?
I've been well.
I've been really watching you and watching all your work and seeing the stuff you've been doing.
And I feel, you know, I didn't feel that connected with your work several years ago.
And now I see what you're doing and I feel like, God, yeah, go, Phil.
Great work.
Like, nice.
And I don't know if that's me or if that's you or if that's intentional or how it's working, but you seem to have had an evolution.
I don't know what to call it.
I guess in the past, you know, the homespun wisdom for the troubled teen and that kind of stuff was something that I felt like...
oh, I could do that, or I did do that on Loveline and stuff like that.
And I thought a lot of it, like, you got your start with Oprah.
Oprah, in my world, just sort of says obvious things to a group of people that really enjoy hearing her obvious things.
And I lumped you into that group as well, but then...
you started going deeper and getting into subjects and, and maybe it was a political thing and maybe it was just, I, you know, I, I, I got older and I started going, yeah, he's going, he's going out with ice and he's, he's embedded with ice and doing stuff like that.
And I just, I just found it interesting and sort of courageous.
Well, there's a little weird thing that popped in my head, but my good friend Dennis Prager used to bring it up every once in a while.
