So the things you do, you protect your eyes.
You protect them from UV radiation, which increases the risk of certain eye diseases.
You protect them from injury.
It's summertime starting, you know, racket sports, cleaning the lawn, mowing the lawn.
Getting things in your eye, you should be wearing eye protection.
And then certainly just knowing your family history and whether you have a higher likelihood of these diseases like glaucoma, macular degeneration, getting that eye exam is so important.
Oh, I'm glad you brought that up.
You know, you're not going to injure like the inner workings of the eye from dry eye and what we call dry eye syndrome.
But when you focus on a screen, you don't blink as often.
So your eyes are going to become drier.
And you may have experienced this as you focus.
I certainly have.
