Did I not eat too much?
Did I you know, when am I going to be hungry again?
What you know, like this just constant noise around food and eating.
And it takes up so much mental space for the individuals that that really do have it.
And these medications
I don't like to say that it completely eliminates because it doesn't for everybody, but it definitely makes it quieter.
It turns the volume down, which then allows people to do some of the other mindset work and allows them to be present.
I mean, the things that I hear my clients say, it's like, oh my gosh, I can enjoy cooking again without just having to nibble on everything while I'm cooking or...
or thinking about food again, they can enjoy being present because that noise is lower.
So they're not constantly thinking about the next meal and food.
It's again, quite remarkable in terms of what the medication can do for that.
So the way that I like to think of it similarly, I think is, you know, it's a signal, right?
It's our brain giving us a signal.
And this is why I mentioned before the eating disorder experts and the obesity experts.
Because we see food noise in individuals that restrict also.
So people can have food noise in any body shape and size.
And I think that's really important to acknowledge because if somebody is restricting, they're going to have louder food noise because the body wants food.
Our brain is wired for survival.
Interesting.
So our brain is going to keep giving us this noise that's like, eat, eat, you know, because you're hungry.
