I would first have them slow down and participate in more mindful eating, maybe see a dietician and add some more protein and fiber and things like that.
And then I usually, the food noise quiets a little bit, right?
Because again, I think it's a signal and it's a sign.
And I think individuals in larger bodies that struggle with obesity, you know, it's kind of the same.
I think their brains and bodies are telling them to eat more, even though they're eating X amount of food, right?
I'm not saying that they all overeat because they don't.
But I think if we go back to the basics,
Like, you know, very basics.
Like, let's eat regularly throughout the day.
Let's make sure we're eating enough nutrients.
Let's eat mindfully and slow down.
I think we can quiet the food noise.
Right.
So oftentimes with my clients, I know that the medication is making them eat less.
I know it's decreasing their cravings.
I know it's decreasing their appetite, but it's still very important.
to be eating those nutrients and making sure they're fueling their bodies.
I mean, it's fueling our brain and our bodies, right?
Oftentimes I hear clients, I can't concentrate, I'm irritable, I can't focus, I can't get through the day, I'm so tired.
And many times that's because they're not eating enough.
