It is that cut and dry.
It's probably one of the largest exams, eight hours.
It literally tests you over your first two years of medical school.
And I remember sitting for the exam the first time
And being on campus when the scores came out and everybody was all excited, you hear all the little whispers and the chatters like, hey, the scores are out.
People talking about what they got and this, that, and the other.
And remember looking at my score, I thought, well, let me just go to the library real quick and take a look and realized I had failed my exam.
Yeah, and failed by a significant number of points.
At this point, you know, by the time the scores, by the time you take your test and the scores come out, most of us are already starting our first clinical rotation as a third year medical student.
And I was on my pediatrics, inpatient pediatrics rotation at Riley Children's Hospital in Indianapolis.
And I remember getting a phone call
from the Dean of the medical school.
And he was like, Hey, I'm just like, you need to leave the hospital now.
Oh, wow.
And I was like,
Okay.
Yeah, I got pulled.
I got pulled from my pediatrics rotation, which was extremely embarrassing, humiliating, right?
Because everyone's all excited.
Now you finally get to doctor, right?
