But today we're going to talk about something that's I think re this time, particularly this time of life.
It's coming
Absolutely.
Parents really struggle with this.
And I think since COVID this it's it's been supercharged and that's emotional based school avoidance.
And yeah, you you blow it up your mind.
Would you have seen it in those days?
Well we told them like literally that it didn't matter.
We told them it was optional.
Well the first thing I w really want to say to parents listening to this, because I hear it so much care working clinically and I work in schools and I sit on the board of like a parenting and advisory council, you know, for parenting and technology institute.
And so I'm talking with principals and I'm talking with stu students and I'm talking with parents all the time.
It's not a parental failure, first of all.
Please hear that.
Because your child finds it difficult to go into school or finds the school environment for whatever reason, it could be a multitude of reasons
there it can be the canteen, it can be the syllabus, but it's more in my experience it's more about the interpersonal relationships.
They find those really difficult and all of a sudden they're having their lunch in the toilet, they're overthinking their interactions, they can't manage the short small talk.
