For a kid who doesn't have that or d feels a little bit outside that, it can be a really terrifying place.

And I remember one year I said to the kids, 'cause I could see it, and I said, lads, I'm big big into movies, I said to them, right?

Yeah.

And I said, uh, I'm gonna watch a movie here 'cause I've got loads of corrections to do.

I had a big classroom and I and I was gonna I'm gonna watch a movie here at the lunchtime.

And if you want to watch a movie, come on up, right?

Or whatever.

It started off being one or two kids who were kinda the kids who couldn't f manage but it wasn't like I'm doing this because people struggled with the canteen.

I was pretending it was a movie club and all of a sudden it's probably with some young fellows in there going, I love that movie club, right?

And then it snowballed and by the end of the week I had like ten

students and by the end of the like the month I had like the class is full at lunchtime and they're coming up with recommendations so it turned into a a movie club at lunch and they come up can we watch Pulp Fiction I was like, No boys we can't watch Pulp Fiction Can we watch uh something about Mary?

It's like no boys we can't watch something about Mary.

It's a great movie but we're not watching it at lunchtime

And then they were all chatting to each other.

And some days I didn't even play a movie, which was all chatting about movies.
