Hey, it's Rupee.
We're going to take a quick break here to hear from sponsors who keep this show completely free for you, our lovely listener.
One thing that we d we also get pushback on is when you tot some of these things up, particularly if you're using some of the extras like nuts and seeds or certain types of like seeded breads.
I know you've got a beautiful seeded bread in your book as well.
Um, and some of these like good quality fats, even though they are, you know, extraversional of oil and they're cold pressed and they're full of polyphenols and all this and they're good quality protein.
Oh, but the calories are seven hundred, eight hundred, eight hundred.
Surely this I'm not gonna be able to lose weight or surely this is too much.
How do you navigate this difficult conversation with with clients and and also broadly on yeah uh uh in in the public sphere?
Yeah.
In the public sphere.
Yeah, yeah.
I love that I don't think I've ever heard anyone describe that that lasting satiety effect of food in the way that you've done, which it makes so much sense.
Cause if the listener just imagines how long our digestive tract is, you know, it's around twelve feet or something.
I always get the feet or meters mixed up, but it's it's long.
And you have the winding small intestine, which is just goes on and on and on, and then you have the
distal portion right at the end, which is the large intestine.
Right.
But what you're uh the image I've got in my mind now from what you've just described is spang on.
You you've got a meal deal which is full of mushy food, which is, you know, delicious and it's got that lovely salt and sugar balance and you feel good in the moment when you're eating it, but that is not going to have that residual effect later on at the latter part of your small intestine, which also signals to your brain, oh yeah, no, we're
Fall down here as well.
