Went to Edinburgh to study and then did GP training.

So I think what drew me to that

was probably that fascination about people, really.

I don't think I really knew it at the time.

I love science, but I think it is that fascination with people and problem solving.

I've always had an interest in detective novels and crime and sort of getting to the bottom of things.

And I think that's what it was.

Very advanced.

Yeah.

So there's something about that, isn't there?

Which is all about, OK, you're presented with an issue.

It's a bit like coaching, isn't it?

What's really kind of going on?

And then what you might think is the obvious culprit actually doesn't always turn out to be.

And there's often a story behind that.

And I think it's that fascination as I've got older and understanding myself better.

That's what I love.

That's what really makes me tick.

Yeah, so that is such a good question.

So it was 20 years ago when I first had some coaching and I think serendipity, I fell into coaching.
