I'd just come back to work after my youngest had been born and had two children and was struggling with that whole juggling of working and being a young mum.

And I remember just I bought a magazine, a magazine that I wouldn't normally have bought.

Something drew me to it.

And in the back of that, there was an advert for coaching.

And something about it jumped out at me.

Coaching wasn't a thing really at that point in time.

And there's just something I can't remember what it was.

But I contacted this person and started having coaching myself.

And it was just transformational.

I really remember that.

The light bulb going on when I realized value, about values, and the fact that, oh, I have different values to other people.

And again, that sounds so ridiculous and naive now.

But back then, it was, yeah, it was hugely eye-opening for me.

And then the questions that my coach, Emma,

started asking me, because I found it so powerful, I started asking similar questions in practice meetings.

I remember my GP colleagues thinking, what's happened to her?

Why is she asking these questions about what do we want?

And how will we know when we've got it?

And those kind of questions.

But it really changed some of the decision making for us in practice meetings.
