And having two young kids at the time, it kind of was important, but I didn't really know about it.
Also just wanting to do things perhaps differently to how I'd been parented.
and realising that actually, you know, boundaries perhaps were something that wasn't clear in my environment growing up.
So there was a huge amount of work.
And so, yeah, I remember reading books on boundaries back then, listening to CDs in the car.
And that has been transformational for me.
Just learning how to say no, still find it hard, but I think I've been brought up to be a people pleaser very much.
And I think in medicine, often we are, there's a sense of patients comes first and
And it was difficult often to do that because of all the things that can stop us from setting boundaries.
But I love it when I am coaching somebody that happened to me this week and they said to me that they had set the boundary and actually when they got pushback about the boundary they'd set, they responded to it in a way that didn't leave them completely stressed or giving in to the boundary.
And I was just...
Yeah, I just wanted to celebrate.
So proud.
Yeah, because that makes such a difference.

You are my really.
Yes.
And that's probably where the values exercise is so helpful to start off with because that's all part of understanding who am I?
