People bet a lot of money on those things.
So they still didn't really... Even with that concrete group, when I was there, their head athletic trainer for football was being subsidized by doing research for a concussion platform.
They couldn't even figure out how to get his pay increased at that time.

It's a common problem, and it still has not been fixed, and the proper people have not been educated on it.
Well, they keep popping up on the NATA salary survey, but they don't want to tell you who's actually in that hundred grand range.

Well, that's me calling out that it wasn't advocacy like that.
That went a little viral, and my original reason how I got into this was, what, two and a half years ago now?
I posted about the NATA salary survey, and I said, how am I making as much as a bachelor's in athletic training when I got my master's to differentiate myself and be more competitive in the job market?

Is it really worth anything more if I'm making as much as a bachelor's person?
Obviously, there are still some variables that go into that.
They could have got a master's in something else.
I don't know.
