And we're thrilled that you're here in Melbourne.
So stay and same with you as well now that you're here.
But Brian, the research side of it, I just want to start with that piece because you've spent time here at the Faculty of Education doing research as well.
Do you want to tell us just briefly about that?
Because if we're thinking about something as interdisciplinary, so why perhaps people keep working on different types of wellbeing models.
And they may work for some time, may not work.
When people walk into your school, what do you want them to notice about the culture and environment?
But also, how important has that research been to guide that culture and environment?
So it really started with the staff understanding it in their own bodies.
But prior to then moving in and understanding that language for self.
Before moving on to the students.
We know the importance of checking for understanding in what we're teaching, but you're actually checking in for a wellbeing gauge.
Do you think it's got a negative connotation to both of you?
Yeah.
100%.
I think that's a really important point because you're not just saying we're going to support you and that trauma-informed practice is just to get through school.
What you're saying is that you're setting them up for life.
Some of the things that I was reading, Brian, that you've said that language is so important and you've got a phrase that is connect before correct.
As principal, what does that mean?
What about for teachers listening as well?
