So really all heart events are eligible for cardiac rehab.
So typically you would think of your heart attacks, your open heart surgeries, so coronary artery bypass grafting, but there's a lot of women's heart health issues now like spontaneous coronary artery dissection or SCAD and things like that.
So all of those conditions are eligible for cardiac rehab.
Absolutely.
So we see this phenomenon in cardiac patients called the cardiac blues.
We know that up to 75% of cardiac patients will experience this cardiac blues.
It's unexpected changes in moods and emotions.
So they might feel sad, they might feel flat, they might feel angry, tearful, irritability, all those types of things.
And it's not their normal selves.
And it's very confusing for patients.
It's very, very normal to experience this in the first few weeks to months after a cardiac event.
And for most people, this will resolve.
About a third, we think, will develop sort of longer-term anxiety and about a fifth will develop depression long-term.
But that's the beauty of going to cardiac rehab because we talk about that there.
We normalise the emotional response.
And if you are struggling, you can be linked in with a psychologist as well.
