Yeah, again, for people who have really high triglycerides, we will sometimes prescribe fish oil.
If you don't eat a diet that has fish, people might take it.
But I will say also with fish oil, that can have blood thinning effects.
So for some people who are on blood thinners and taking fish oil,
They have the additional effects of the fish oil.
And there's some data to say that it might actually also increase your risk of atrial fibrillation or abnormal heart rhythm.
So I often tell people, again, no reason for just taking fish oil if you generally eat a well-rounded, healthy diet.
