So that means a year or two.
So we're losing a lot of brilliant nurses early on who are ready to climb the ladder, but there's nothing.
Nothing they can sit for until they've got the thousands of hours of practice and people move to other health systems to get paid more or they leave the profession altogether.
So we see this as a key tool to retention.
If you're a chief nursing executive, we think that you should get a bunch of these certificates, give them to your nurse residents as they graduate to say.
I value you.
I want you to stay in my health system, sit for this exam.
You get that credential if you don't have it already.
And then in a few years you're ready for the C C R N, the C E N and all the other special insurance.
That's right.
And I'm with you.
I don't love credentials either.
And in my keynotes, if anyone's listening and has heard me give a keynote, I like to sing the healthcare alphabet song.
And sometimes I make a joke about I'll read a nursing journal and sometimes I'll literally see 26 letters behind a nurse's name.
I don't know what half of those certifications and credentials are.
So I don't love it, but nursing is about credentialing a certification.
That's a part of our profession.
And
And back to this idea, this is a compliment to the INCLEX.
And it's not here to replace any other specialty certification, because, like you said, it's a stepping stone to sort of fill that time in between.
