It's highly complicated for some people and they really need the experience of a very safe relationship within which their feelings can be contained in a safe way.

I think I mean, it's probably no coincidence we have the best jokes of those that happen at funerals.
You know, we kind of laugh and we cry at a funeral with equal intensity.
I think what's beautiful about that text is how that listener can
kind of describe the whole, the palette of emotion that she has, that there's a whole range of feelings behind her tears and she can begin to distinguish, I'm sorry, I'm saying she, I don't got the impression it was a she, that she can begin to discern the different shades of emotion and sadness.

really appreciate that you've been able to kind of keep your feelings in and stop yourself feeling and do it more deliberately, consciously exaggerate that.

And so you begin to get the feeling of how you do that.
And then paradoxically, it can be easier to let go.
I've been fascinated by Jacob Collier recently.
I've been listening to a lot of his music and his work with choirs and audiences and turning them into choirs and orchestras.
And I find it moves me hugely emotionally.
And part of what moves me is that I see people being very moved by his music through the audience.
