I think what you're saying is there's different routes to tears and tears can come from deep sadness.

They can come from a deep joy.

They can come from just being very moved.

I think that's really important to say, Brendan.

I've certainly cried at times and I have said,

At the time, this is this is not I'm not upset.

This is my happy face.

I just felt so moved and so touched.

I mean, I think we watch a movie and we see an act of kindness and we see some deep healing in somebody or we hear the story of somebody who survived.

And we think, gosh, that's so moving.

You know, I think we are moved.

And I think together when we're hearing these stories, we're collectively moved by them.

And we sometimes give way to tears.

But it's tears of absolute appreciation for that person or that story, that piece of music.

You know, I think very often with music, we respond with tears.

And sometimes it's just the beauty of what we're listening to.

And sometimes it touches the sadness we've forgotten we're carrying inside.

Okay.

Music opens all our emotional pores and it just gets whatever is there.

I think part of me wants to say, yes, we are.
