And yes, I know there's jumping, but this whole jumping thing has kind of aggravated me because women will do anything to get out of Bulgarian split squats and deadlifts and challenging moves.
They just will.
Women will do anything to get out of lifting heavy on the lower body.
It's the most bizarre thing.
And now they've got everyone convinced that they can just jump, right?
well, if you just jump off an eight-inch step 30 times, then... No, the data didn't show that, actually.
The data looked at people who jumped and lifted weights, and they lifted fairly heavy.
It was like 85% of their one rep max, I believe.
They were pretty close to the edge.
So...
It's the heavy lifting that the muscles pull on the bones.
Your muscles and your bones are BFFs.
If your muscles are unhealthy, if they're metabolically compromised, they're full of fatty infiltrate, they're insulin resistant, they're weak, they're deconditioned, they're frail, your bones are going to be exactly the same.
And no amount of jumping is going to save you.
