But he had this idea of deconstruction when applied to literary texts, right?
So you look at a literary text, it's not about tearing it apart willy-nilly.
It's about examining the inherent tensions and contradictions with the goal of understanding something better, right?
Understanding the motivations behind it.
And I think that's a better way of understanding deconstructing when it comes to the spiritual or the faith realm, is that you're you're picking.
Picking something apart, examining it more thoroughly to understand whether what you've inherited is actually legitimate or not.
Yeah.
And so whereas a lot of people just use it, it's like a pejorative too, like, oh, these deconstruct these deconstructors, like they just want to like rip on faith.
But when it's used like that, I think that's a more healthy way to think about it.

You know, when engineers test something like a bridge or a structure or something by putting stress on it?
Yeah, stress testing.
