And, you know, these are almost the two...
So the interesting thing for me from this was the fact that what industry had done is it's really clever.
It's turned the mechanism that makes science good
you know, turned up too far and used it against itself in a way.
That sort of, you know, science advantage by critiquing a paper and looking at it, but not to the point of the minutiae kind of deliberately missing the thrust, the direction of the paper and just taking...
The tiny little bits that are wrong in every paper.
And I suppose, you know, that's what I was going to ask you about, Carl, is, you know, where does that criticism, where is it useful?
And at what point does that tip over into something that is unuseful?
And can we measure that somehow or can we...
you know, start to think about as editors, perhaps, when we're getting back peer review or whatever, that this is useful, this isn't, you know?
And I suppose one of those areas is, and I'm teeing him up for his rant here, smartphone apps.
The skin cancer app is just for fun.
Right, well, that's round over.
We know how Carl feels about apps.
That is all from us this week.
Just the last thing to do.
The last thing I'm going to do is ask you, you know, we've given people a flavour of what's going on, but is there anything that people should be reading?
And Helen, you might want to plug your CYs a bit there.
I will put all the links in.
And Carl.
