Once you've had that decision, you go, okay, I want a portion, a part of that towards that.
Then we go, right, what's the mortgage situation and what would paying off your mortgage do for you?

More often, we're probably not looking at the mortgage as the best thing to allocate to straight away.
But the reason that I've spoken about probably many times before is that there is more tax effective ways if you say, for example, debt recycle and then reinvest into the market where you will end up with a compounding machine that is better.
The comparison is maybe just taking it and investing it all or putting it in the mortgage and paying it out, right?
You still have to maintain those debt repayments.
