Uh I would express a personal concern that this gets political.
Uh given that it's coming from the federal government.
Um and so wouldn't want us to get drawn into any sort of um
uh representation of this grant and of the partners in this grant by uh anybody uh at the federal level.
I do have one question about the funding thing.
Uh given the nature of the investments that are allowed here, assuming we got this, is it possible that we could make substantial investments in in uh
In capital goods, technology and things like that during the three years, and then actually have a reduced rate, a reduced need for additional funding after the three years just to can sustain those operations.
So uh if there is a way, if it if this is something we want to do, can we kind of front load it in such a way that the the need that we have doesn't have to equal the amount of the grant, but that we
We could continue everything that the grant funded uh at a lower continuing operating cost.
So I'd be interested to know the answer to that, 'cause there is definitely a concern about the budget impact in year four.
And I want to tell you personally that I would be very inclined to back you up on your on on the outcome.
Uh we've just heard some things here that do require further thought.
