And at a different time before takeovers became vogue uh i is is not going to be a good guidepost for us.

The best guidepost for us is what happens uh as we start here.

Uh and you know, if there's a backlash immediately and we get a whole lot of reports of kids saying, Oh my God, you know, uh I was I was in handcuffs because I'm sixteen.

You know, I'm sure that would cause a lot of us to to think again.

So uh

I just want to point out that uh South Charlotte Partners will be hosting the South Charlotte Transportation Summit again this year.

And this is quite a significant event.

It's attended by 150 to 200 uh elected officials, government uh and business leaders and members of the public.

It goes far beyond just South Charlotte.

It's an interesting event to take stock of what's going on and what the views are of the business community on transportation.

That will take place uh starting at seven thirty on the twenty ninth of September at the Piper Glen Country Club in my district.
