So uh one possibility I thought of is we go ahead, we uh implement this curfew.

And then we just get ongoing reports, ongoing we we listen for complaints or for for feedback from the community at any time.

We can change it.

This council has the authority at any time, if we don't like the way it's going, to just change it.

So it may not be that the pilot is missing, I'm not at all opposed to it.

I'm just saying in practice I wonder if we should just start down this road and uh and and sort of see how we go.

Uh and I do think that we can get the kind of information that was suggested from you.

We can hear about how many incidents there have been, uh, or uh how many of these takeovers were averted.

Is it working?

Uh the problem with data is this is not very scientific.

I think the data from another community with a different mix uh and different circumstances

And at a different time before takeovers became vogue uh i is is not going to be a good guidepost for us.

The best guidepost for us is what happens uh as we start here.

Uh and you know, if there's a backlash immediately and we get a whole lot of reports of kids saying, Oh my God, you know, uh I was I was in handcuffs because I'm sixteen.

You know, I'm sure that would cause a lot of us to to think again.

So uh

Please uh keep working on this.

Uh I just want you to know that I do support uh what you're doing and the idea of a curfew.
