Many people die waiting for healthcare.

If you get shanked and you're in a rural hospital, two guards have to go with you in an ambulance to the hospital.

And sometimes, because of the rural locations of these prisons, that may be a three-hour ride to a hospital.

Plus then, hospitals have been known to overcharge the prisons once they get there.

Oh, yeah.

All right.

So let's say there's an extreme situation of a riot and many people are injured and stabbed.

First, there's a total lockdown.

No one gets seen during that time.

Then hours later, they start to see patients, which is super cool when you have a puncture wound in your kidney.

Yeah, and if you're really sick, they release you so you can go die at home.

I was happy to hear this.

I needed a brighter side looking into all this shit.

Turns out compassionate release can be used as a weapon to kill somebody they don't want to actually treat or can't afford to treat.

Oh, it's going to be expensive and a pain in the ass to give this person chemo?

Let's release them.

Then once they're released, they're penniless with no health insurance.

It's a legal death sentence through poverty and neglect.
