You know, when someone's using particularly kind of academic and highfalutin language, we might also think, Are they an expert in that or something? matched

And I in my opinion, they kind of misuse and abuse some of the academic language in the area of like AI and stuff like that to fit their own narrative. matched

Forcefully put out these opinions, they get, you know, a lot of attention for them, they get like they get a lot of credo for them. matched

To the point that Sam Altman said that that guy who does the Less Wrong blog, Yudkowski, should get a Nobel Peace Prize for accelerating AGI, which is artificial general intelligence, which is another concept of super intelligence. matched

Now, Altman I don't believe is part of the EA community, the effective altruists, because remember there was that drama of him getting kicked out of open AI for like a weekend and then he came back? matched

That was actually like a power move from the EA people on that board who felt like he had strayed away from those ideals. matched

Um, so I don't think he is an EA guy. matched

Maybe he's one of these rationalist guys, but like I said, these things kind of bleed together a little bit. matched

Um, but that that community clearly, like if if Altman is saying, Give that guy a peace prize, they have the ear of these big tech leaders and you hear their talking points being parroted by them sometimes. matched
