was older and the kids were I had kids I was kind of doing evenings and stuff there but I just I just loved it and all the businesses in Killarney are all so friendly and you get to know all the staff working there so it was like our own family really liked you know what I mean so yeah I loved it cross the way from the dungeon cross the way from the dungeon from my penny sweets
I ended up settling down.
Yeah.
So I met the father of my children when I was about 18 or 19.
And we were together for about 14 or 15 years.
So I was 21 when we bought our first house and we had a lovely car and life was amazing.
In Kilcoman.
In Kilcoman, yeah.
So just outside Killarney.
So then I had my firstborn, my son, when I was 23.
So it came as a surprise, but it was all good.
We had the house and everything was, you know, great.
And then I suppose he's, you know, the way you're going out when you're younger and stuff like, and then the firstborn came along and people say, it takes the man a while now to settle down when the child comes.
And I was thinking, yeah, yeah, yeah.
But as time went on, I could see that the drinking was progressing, you know, and it was becoming problematic.
Do you know, it was interfering with our lives.
The parting was continuous.
There was a lot of kind of arguing between us and it just escalated over the years.
