It's this big room in a library stuffed with people, like standing room only.

I was shocked how many people were there.
And there's people talking about having been in relationships for 20 and 30 years, very happy relationships together.
With multiple partners.

And I'm like, how does that not just kill your heart?
Like, they're like, it's the opposite.
Their heart opens and blooms with all of these additional people.
They really do experience it as more love.
During the meeting itself, I only listened.
And then after the meeting, I went up to a person who later participated in my study.
And I was just like, you know, you say that you're so happy about
And when I think about this, it just feels terrible to me.
Like, how do you manage that?
And of course, her answer was long and complicated and hard to kind of put into a nugget.
