Religion by itself is not psychosis, nor is spirituality by itself psychosis.

Believing in God, in miracles, prayer, revelations, supernatural realities, these don't automatically constitute delusion.

But psychosis frequently borrows whatever language and meaning structures that are already existing inside of that person's world.

For this reason, when we look at it from a predictive mind lens, when you do predictive mind and you do your nine markers, there is one specific behavior marker, if in a specific place, is a precursor to this sort of delusional style thinking.

Where in general, if somebody has this marker and they're dipping into spirituality or religion.

They need to be very aware of what they're doing and maintain a firm anchor into reality because they are highly likely to lose themselves and tiptoe off that edge and delusion because they are not able to hold.

their internal thought processing space with agency.

If you're deeply religious, it's likely to become spiritual.

And suddenly God isn't simply guiding you, God is giving you a secret command that nobody else can understand.
