I think it's perfectly captured what this generation does best.
We find creative bold way to make ourselves hurt when traditional channels don't really include us.
Oh, that's such a good question and honestly I go back and forth on this one a lot.
On one hand I think our generation has something really special.
Like we grew up with everything happening at once.
Climate change, COVID, cause of living crisis, democratic backsliding, social media.
We've never known a world that was simple and in a weird way I think that forced you to develop a kind of insight.
for complexity.
You learn to connect the dots between issue almost naturally.
The Woman Wife project is a perfect example of that actually.
This woman didn't just say climate change is bad, they said okay, but it's also a feminist issue and a racial justice issue and a global south issue all at the same time.
That intersectional thinking, that's very much our generation thinks.
But then I want to be honest here.
I also see the other side because complexity.
Can be paralyzing.
There is so much information, so much noise, so much crisis, competing for attention that sometimes I think we risk getting overwhelmed and just checking out.
Dumb scrolling instead of acting, feeling like nothing we do is enough.
So I would say it's a superpower we all automatically have.
I think it's more like a potential that needs the right condition to actually deal with
develop access to education, safe space to discuss, platform where young voice are generally taken seriously rather than just tokenise.
