just what will happen to the quality of the relationship anyway, because you'll be probably resentful, probably worried, anxious about other parts of your life.

You may have restricted your own freedoms by um by doing that.

So it probably will come down to um your duty to yourself.

Well, look, I guess there's two things.

One is that if you know that that impasse is is simply non negotiable.

It is, as Brad's just indicated, it has dramatic consequences for how you live your life and how you're going to be able to interact with others.

So it's no longer about just you and your partner.

You can't cook up a solution that's going to work for your life in its entirety.

So you could come up with a deal with your partner, like, okay, I agree not to get vaccinated, but that actually leaves you potentially against the rest of the world and hugely affected.

So in the end it's not going to be possible to get past that and still

have everything plus the partner and a partner should enhance your life not hold you back.

So it's very important that you don't come up with deals like that.

I think that's that's the first thing to say.

The second thing is that as I mentioned earlier, um it's not so common that these kind of impasses um are just one-offs.

If someone is wanting to really restrict your life,

or get you to agree at all costs with them um or hold views like this, odds are on it's a pattern, a bigger pattern that is a feature running through the relationship or is going to be a feature running through the relationship.

So I suspect if you don't come to sort of um

you know, a breakup over this issue, you you probably will come come to one not long after as as either the ramifications of this unfold or other issues unfold that have a similar flavour.
