My mom is the reason that I do what I do.
So in 2001, my mom passed away from breast cancer.
And I remember actually being in the hospital with her and talking to her doctors and just being able to see that if I didn't do something in my life, if I didn't make a change, that I was witnessing my future.
Now, at the time, I thought that it was just physical.
Like I needed to start paying attention to my physical health.
So exercising, eating right,
My sleep was always pretty good at that point because I was 33 years old and we take our sleep habits for granted at that point.
But so I thought it was all around weight.
I thought that it was all around physical health.
And we both went to the same life coach school.
And it wasn't until I started doing life coaching, and I can talk about how that fits in with the physical health in just a second if you're interested.
But it wasn't until I started doing that work that I realized that I also needed to really change myself.
my mental health and my emotional health as well, that those things could also be contributing to disease and just an unhealthy life in general.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So yeah, she was a CPA.
She had saved so much so that her retirement would be just amazing.
And she was 63 years old and she passed away.
