But I think the fact that I needed her to do that 150 times before I was satisfied might have been too much for her.
So I think I just couldn't leave it in the way that my brother and sister could probably, you know, have it done five or six times.
However, I do actually think they're both on the spectrum.
My brother definitely is dyslexic.
and adhd i'm sure of it just undiagnosed and i think my sister is more what would have been add yes um and probably not as overtly hyperactive as me so i think that was the problem i think it was just my relentlessness and i used to steal a lot
If anyone was going to steal money out of my mum's purse, it was me.
So that was probably quite annoying as well.
And, you know, if I wanted the extra biscuit that I wasn't supposed to have, I'd do it because I was a risk taker.
And I got very good at lying.
There was two reasons for that.
One, I'm highly imaginative.
And if I don't want to get into trouble, I would very quickly work my way out of that situation.
But equally, because my dad was telling me not to tell...
anybody what was going on, he was sort of conditioning that further into me as well.
So I think this is where sometimes it's hard to separate the trauma from ADHD because you're being told on one hand not to tell the truth.
This is a secret you must never tell anybody.
And on the other hand, you've got this wild imagination and creativity and
And the impulse control issue with ADHD.
So it's very difficult sometimes to work out which is... And I know most people I know with ADHD do question whether they have ADHD.
