And but because I saw the way Lauren was, I kind of had a goal.

And I was like, I know as a kid that I'm this really I was this really outgoing, bubbly kid.

But I'm the person I am now.

Like, I'm just so sad.

Like, I had no self-worth, no self-respect.

No, I didn't think that even my intelligence I questioned because I thought so little of myself.

And then I had this role model in Lauren to see that.

Everyone loves her.

No one cares that she has one arm.

Like if I can get out of my head, then maybe I can be like Lauren one day.

And so that only really began when I went to like I did boarding school from 15 to 17, did London 2012, had an awful games experience.

Came home, went to the institute, still hid my arm in the institute because I was still really ashamed of my disability and being different.

Hid my arm for two years there.

Then I started college when I was 19 in DIT and I did a culinary degree.

And you can't hide in a culinary degree.

So I kind of was just like, this is my fresh start.

This is my new beginning.

Nobody knows me here.

Nobody knows that I have one arm and nobody knows that I'm insecure about having one arm.

So I can walk in here and pretend that I'm the most confident person.
