This is the thing to say.
Like it wasn't like he was unwell.
You could just see these changes.
Like best way I could describe it is it's like he was losing his spark a little bit.
It's like the light was dwindling.
Like, you know, he seemed uninterested.

So they brought him in for tests.
He was in there for two weeks.
And they confirmed that he was dying, that the treatment that he got saw that it didn't work.
But he'd been through so much at this point.
We went into, it's called an MDT, like a meeting with all his medical professionals.
And they were like kind of essentially breaking the news to us, like, you know, and I'd come to terms already before anyone telling me he was dying, like, you know, and so did Charlotte to a degree, like, you know, we kind of just knew, we kind of knew it wasn't fair.
And I'm like, you know, like that, like these things that like the CPR instance and all these instances that happened to him, like it's so cruel.
Like he's a baby, like the, you know, like it's not fair.
Like we can't, we can't really give him another treatment because with SMA, like I said, once you lose it, you don't get it back.
Like, you know, so if his lungs are gone that week, like nothing is going to strengthen that.
And if you're on the BiPAP 24-7, his face and all starts to break out and like his skin gets really bad and he starts getting open wounds.
And ultimately what can happen is if he gets an open wound, he can get an infection.
If he gets an infection, he could die.
