The story they went with is that he was always in love with Serena Vanderwoodson, the ultimate rich it girl.

And in order to win her over, he inserted himself into her life by running this crazy blog where he was able to also manipulate his classmates and everything, but get himself closer to her.

So the whole end game is that he was essentially like stalking her.

See, all the pretty girls have a stalker.

Sad.

To kind of infiltrate her life and it works.

Yeah.

Everyone's like, he's so creepy.

And I'm like, he was worse than Gossip Girl, it turns out.

So it came out like so the whole thing is like he also changes once it's unveiled that he's Gossip Girl.

He also just completely changes his personality.

Yeah, he wears a funny hat.

Yeah.

He's like, now I wear hats.
