The whole Dan thing, I was like, this is because if you go back and watch the previous seasons of Gossip Girl, there's so many moments when Dan is alone in his room.

No one can see him.

And he reads something on Gossip Girl and reacts to it, surprised or upset.

Why would he be surprised and upset by himself if he wrote it?

And why does that happen so often?

There are.

It's just like us.

There are sometimes we'll be in a content meeting and someone will be like, oh, we do have this article that's on the same topic.

And I'll be like, oh, I don't know if we should do that story.

And someone's like, you wrote it.

And you're like, oh, actually, yeah, it's a great story.

And I'll be like, oh, I read it six years ago.
