They try to be clever and, like, poke holes in the story in the show.

They're like, well, why did you write about Jenny and, like, your sister losing her virginity and stuff?

And he's like, she told me.

So also now there's this reality where Jenny's in on it, even though there's moments where she's also alone and sees the Gossip Girl stuff and if she knew it was Dan, she wouldn't act that way.

So they tried to sort of be like, oh, no, no, she knew all along and Dan knew that.

Dan's like, if I had to write about everyone, otherwise you would know it was me.

But it doesn't explain all the moments where we as the audience are alone with that character.

Yeah.

And he clearly isn't Gossip Girl.

What about that?
