I mean, frankly, Josh Simons, it turns out, was incredibly popular in his seat in Makerfield and probably could have won and clung on there, even with a sort of reform tide.

But I think if you're a newer MP now, you're thinking, I want the guy who's just got his messaging right.

And this is again what came out of the focus group.

It's not that people want personality, but they want somebody who can deliver their message.

That was across the board.

And I think people have spent ages kind of going, ooh, left or right?

Should Labour move to the left or the right?

Is Andy Burnham to the left?

Is he pulling the party to the left?

I think, honestly, that's all irrelevant.

I don't think it is about left and right.

I think it's about doing or not doing delivery or not delivery, making a case, not making a case.

It's actually it's become much more binary than something that is to do with the sort of the exact shifts in policy.
