The one that just came out is on the Amarna Letters that we've mentioned.
It's called Love, War, and Diplomacy, the Discovery of the Amarna Letters and What They Told Us About the Bronze Age World, something like that.
They did not know because when they were found in 1887, there was a big race, a race to decipher them.
Akkadian and cuneiform had only been deciphered 30 years earlier.
So that's what I do in half of the book is talk about the race to decipher.
And there were two British scholars, well-known, Archibald Henry Sace, an Assyriologist.
He was at Oxford.
And the famous Wallace Budge, the infamous Egyptologist at the British Museum of
and the two of them were part of the race to translate, along with five young German scholars who I dubbed the young Berliners, and the whole race to translate.
I think it's as interesting as the race to translate Egyptian hieroglyphics and so on.
And they did not realize before they translated them,
the world of the late Bronze Age at that time.
And in fact, Sais said that besides the Hebrew Bible, the Amarna letters are the most important source we've got textually for the late Bronze Age.
So it was a real revelation.
It rewrote history as we knew it.
