But if, if deadlines are not an issue, if it is a personal project, like say the kitchen, it's not me avoiding doing the countertops.

I know that one day I will wake up and go, okay, I'm sick of looking at this kitchen.
It's time to do the countertops.
And, and so it doesn't, at least the emotional response for me is not like I am trying not to do it.
It's I'm waiting for the day where I wake up and go, I'm sick of looking at these fucking countertops.
Let's get it.

of seeing it undone will exceed sure yeah yeah yeah every day more that balances tip that's the day you wake up i agree with you on that i'm not saying that's not the case but it's not like it's not as though i wake up every day and go down in the kitchen and i'm frustrated at the state of the kitchen i'm just like this is just what the kitchen is and there will be a day where i wake up and go okay i just don't want the kitchen to be like this anymore let's change it
You know, so it's not it's not an emotional tension, but I do hear your point of like one day.
Well, I'm asking, I'm not like trying to defend and say it's not procrastination.
I was genuinely curious.
And that's a fair point of like,
It does bubble up sometimes when I look at him and go like, this kitchen is fucking, like this tile is ugly though, you know?
Goddamn right.
That's why God invented corn pops, for Christ's sake.
I mean, yes.
More specifically, like, I guess what I see is, and maybe this is what you're getting at, is people who have done all of the requisite research, people who have studied, they've listened to the podcast, they've watched the YouTube videos, they bought the tools, and then they come in and they understand the theory.
