I think like, all right.
So, so if we use music as an analogy for me, then, um, even though I grew up like playing piano and playing instruments in school and whatnot, we'll just take, like, I started playing guitar when I was in my teens, we didn't have any guitars lying around.
So I had to figure out, um,
a how much guitar costs and could I afford one?
And then within the budget that I could afford, what's the best guitar to buy?
There's so many options.
And how do I how do I even get my hands on a guitar to try it to see if it's a good guitar?
And so maybe coming back to the woodworking now, maybe you go to a trade show, maybe you go to like a Lee Nielsen hand tool event, maybe you take a class, et cetera, et cetera.
And then you buy a guitar and hey, turns out you fucking suck because you don't know what you're doing.
And you're like, did I get a shitty guitar?
I don't know.
Must be the guitar.
So I got to buy a better guitar because it's not me, obviously.
So that in my experience as a teacher that manifests in two ways and it could be both or neither in any given person.
But these are the two typical ways I see that come out because I think you're 100 percent spot on.
uh usually they start to by the end of the week or the end of the two weeks you can see them like really contending with and like they'll have like vocal outbursts like why is this so hard it's like because it's it is and you've never done it you know and like i've seen people be like
Like I'm a fucking top tier surgeon in America.
