He's an enormously strong kid.

But yeah, you got to give up something to get something.

And this is an interesting one.

Yeah, it certainly seems that way.

The years of control are just growing more and more valuable.

The more front office philosophy sort of hovers and gravitates toward the style that you see in Cleveland and Milwaukee and Tampa Bay.

These organizations that are successful over long periods of time, that's whose people get poached by front offices or by teams who are

hiring new GMs.

And so that school of thought sort of migrates and permeates throughout the league.

And that's what I think what we're seeing here.

And once you get multiple, let's get people all over the place who view things in that light, then being transactional while you're on the same page becomes a little bit easier.

I think everyone, you know, everyone is thinking more or less like you are.

Ty Southerseen is like a gritty gamer type who doesn't strike out, who doesn't really hit very much power, and probably is –

Um, the second baseman, um, you know, again, like Brendan and I are slightly different as far as how we view Ty South the scene, uh, you know, South the scene for him is like a fringe fit at shortstop who might develop there.

And for me, he's can't play shortstop, uh, definitely a second base only guy, uh, without a whole lot of power to profile there.

It's tough to be a second baseman who doesn't have the power to be an everyday guy, uh,

So I'm not super high on Ty Southacine.

Brett Bateman, the other piece in the deal, I think had the chance to impact the big league club in a marginal way, but pretty soon.

fits that Blue Jays archetype where he doesn't strike out and he doesn't get too much power.

And, you know, Brett Bateman center field defense is like just okay.
