But the biggest thing I found, and I said this is my contribution to the team the other night because there's going to be a midweek team.

is that the internationals on Saturday, the test team, they got the international refs.

They got the neutral referees.

The midweek team, we got the local guys.

And, man, I'm not saying they were cheats.

I'm not saying that at all.

But we were pretty dang close to it, you know.

So it was, you know, and you had to adjust to how they refereed the game.

And, you know, I forget which game it was, but it was out in the middle of nowhere.

We got sent out because Carly would keep the test team in Johannesburg or Pretoria or wherever we were.

the midweek team had to fly off to potterstrom or boland or whitbank or whatever the name of these these these little towns were and we'd go out there and just take a a traveling bag basically play the game and get back to to prepare the test emulator but they were tough games and um we we had one game where we drew

And it was, we scored in the last minute and John Preston had a kick it from the sideline and no one could find the kicking tee.

And I saw it, it was in the touch judge's hand, he had it behind his back with his flag.

And I said to the ref, there's the kicking tee right there.

He says, oh no, it's too late.

I said, no, no, no.

And I ran over to try and get the kicking tee off this guy and he wouldn't give it to us.

the ref was going no no no it's too late so so jp had to do the old make a hole in the ground and stand the ball up and uh and kick the try and kick the conversion he just missed him and we actually drew that game and i was speaking to the referee after the game and he was actually a good bloke and i said mate what's the story he goes he says let me tell you something
