I love them just pan, like in a pot, like you would make sauteed onions.
So treat it that way and just reduce, let them soften in a little bit of oil and butter.

same family um so yeah i wouldn't be i wouldn't be afraid of it it's definitely a harder vegetable to chop because of its hardness but cut it down the middle so you've still got the centerpiece on and use that as your bit to hold on to and then that's even though you know the way sometimes it goes into three or four kind of roundy stalky bits at the top they're perfect cut them as well so they're gorgeous to eat yeah i want that from under a roast chicken right now

Like we are probably coming a little bit away from Irish raspberries.
Strawberries are still going because there's so many strawberry farmers.
here in Ireland but then we're coming into like well we have gooseberries which are usually wild not many are cultivated and blackberries like Stella and I go picking blackberries any time like they're everywhere on the walk to school you know they're down the country they're in the cities but absolutely gorgeous and yeah you talked about freezing earlier or batch cooking these are something you could do like if you really love Irish berries like I do as well and don't want to be using you know foreign berries in the
Buy some now, give them a little wash and throw them in the freezer or make yourself up a nice coulis or jam or something and preserve what is in season right now for in the future.
Because that's what we used to do.
